Is my PDF uploaded to a server?

No. Your browser extracts the text locally using PDF.js. Only the extracted text is sent to the AI to answer your questions — the PDF file itself never leaves your device.

Does it work with scanned PDFs?

Scanned PDFs have no selectable text. Run the OCR tool first to get the text, then chat with the OCR output.

Is my conversation saved?

No. The conversation exists only in your browser tab and is gone when you close or refresh the page. Nothing is stored on our servers.
